Onshore-offshore synchronisation to improve

Bangalore , March 13

The US-based GalaxE Solutions today announced that it would be transferring high-value work to Bangalore and Toronto. The company designs and deploys business processes and supporting systems to enable clients to transact and share information across internal networks and over the Internet.

The company has said that India would be the hub of IT activity for its operations. It has offices in New York, Toronto, and Bangalore.

The significant high-value work to be transferred includes service-oriented architecture and service level management-related solution development work, which traditionally would have been done at the customer's premises.

GalaxE Solutions also plans to double its headcount to 200 in Bangalore to form a ratio of 1:3 for the on-site/off-shore mix.

Mr Timothy Bryan, Chairman and CEO, said: "We have created a modified matrixed organisation in which technical excellence and industry best practices are the key dimensions for successful delivery."

Mr Sandipan Gangopadhyay, President and COO, said: "Our presence in the US, Toronto, and Bangalore helps synchronise operations."
