New range of products from Usha

Hyderabad, March 13

Usha International Ltd, a consumer durable products company, has announced the launch of a range of products encompassing ceiling fans, sewing machines, electric motors, mixies and water coolers.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the Vice-President of Marketing, Mr Prakash Narayan, said the launch of products including home appliances, would coincide with an event where dealers from all over the country would converge.

The effort is aimed at consolidating the market share and reach.

Referring to products category wise, Mr Narayan said the company is launching about 15 models of water motors, which would cater to diverse user segments. Many of these products have unique features that cater to a specific need.

The company's share in sewing machines has gone up which is reflected by 72 per cent growth in sales over last year.
