Sharp fall in groundnut oil

Groundnut oil ruled weak, while crude soya oil moved up marginally on the local edible oils market on Saturday. Castor seed futures ended steady.

Groundnut oil raw was down Rs 3 at Rs 438 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was steady at Rs 378 per 10 kg. Imported crude soya oil was up Rs 2 at Rs 354 per 10 kg. Refined soya oil was steady at Rs 368 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was unchanged at Rs 326 per 10 kg.

Castor seed April contracts ended Re 1 at Rs 1,576 per quintal.
