Strong orders lift Emco scrip

Shares of Emco Ltd are on an upward march, courtesy its strong order book of Rs 430 crore, which is expected to ensure sustained growth in coming years, analysts said. Local brokerage firm BRICS Securities has come out with a `buy' recommendation on Emco Ltd, projecting a 47.4 per cent increase in the company's sales to Rs 520 crore in FY07 and a 61.3 per cent rise in PAT. Emco's shares ended higher at Rs 679.45, up by 1.14 per cent from Wednesday's close of Rs 671.80 on the BSE. The share prices have gained 26.1 per cent over the last one-month period from Rs 538.80 on February 8.
