Bangalore, March 8

Bosch Security Systems said on Wednesday that it has introduced a range of new security solutions for the Indian market. Bosch's security solutions business head in India, Mr Dhiraj Wali told newspersons that the Indian market for security systems was growing at 25 per cent while Bosch itself was growing at 50 per cent. Currently Bosch has a 9 per cent share in the Rs 500-crore market in India, he said. Mr Wali said the newly introduced products include the easy series intrusion control panel and the wireless intrusion alarm system VR8. He said Bosch offers specific products for the residential segment. Mr David Anderson, global head for the company's intrusion detection business, said the `Easy Series' for residences and small businesses was customised for the Indian market. He said the intrusion alarm system can detect unauthorised movements, forced openings and gas leaks.
