CSS sets up Australian arm

Chennai, March 7

Cybernet Software Systems Group (CSS), a US-based IT services group with offshore facilities in Chennai, has set up a 100 per cent subsidiary in Australia.

CSS Australia will target the BFSI (banking and financial services), manufacturing, telecom, and retail verticals, and is looking at acquiring six clients in the first year of its operations. The CSS group employs over 3,000 professionals out of its offshore facilities in India and has plans to double its headcount in the next 12-18 months, according to a company release.
