Hind Latex pays 20 pc interim

Hindustan Latex has paid an interim dividend of 20 per cent to the Centre for 2005-06. The Chairman and Managing Director, Mr M. Ayyappan, handed over a cheque for Rs 23.25 crore to the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Anbumani Ramadoss, at a function in New Delhi on Thursday. Hind Latex has recorded a turnover of Rs 161.37 crore as of January this year against Rs 148.82 crore clocked during the same period the previous year. This accounted for a rise in turnover of 8.4 per cent year-on-year. The profit recorded stands at Rs 13.47 crore.
