Mumbai, March 3

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has clarified that companies in the airport sector as well as those engaged in telecom manufacturing activities are eligible for external commercial borrowing (ECB) in accordance with the existing guidelines. It had announced comprehensive ECB guidelines on August 1, 2005.
