Mabaz targets corporate execs

Hyderabad, Feb. 23

The Meena Bazar group, part of the jewellery stores and established ethnic clothes store chain, have announced the launch of Mebaz, a new store in the up-market Banjara Hills area that seeks to target executives in the corporate world.

Addressing a press conference at the store premises, the promoter of Mebaz, Mr Sagar Jethwani, said that all through four decades, the focus was on ethnic clothes targeting special occasions.

"While we did have a collection of clothing for office-goers, we felt that there is need for a separate theme store that would cater to today's executives. In a market which is witness to rapid growth, a theme store that caters to the needs of executives in the corporate world was missing. Mebaz seeks to bridge that gap," he said.

The store brings some of the best-known international brands and fashion labels such as Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Hugo Boss, Sarar, Gucci, Dior, while showcasing other brands such as Van Heusen and Louis Philippe.
