Tata Teleservices is now making available Anant "Uncle" Pai's comics in English and Hindi on its Tata Indicom mobile service.

The wireless application has been provided by Coruscant Tec, a mobile solutions company with a focus on content and commerce, said a news release.

The application will be provided in other Indian languages including Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Bengali and Punjabi.

Tata Teleservices wants to provide interesting content to its diverse subscriber base, said Mr Pankaj Sethi, Vice-President of content and applications for the company.

According to Coruscant, this is the first time that a BREW application (available with CDMA technology) has been developed with a regional interface.
