Events Variety - Fashion Global fashion meet in Delhi next week Our Bureau
New Delhi , Feb. 18 GLOBAL fashion leaders will be in India next week to attend the international conference on fashion being organised jointly by Pearl Academy of Fashion and Nottingham Trent University of Britain on February 21-22 here to evolve and cultivate new perspectives on the fashion industry. ``The objective is to bring together our associates, including alumni, international partners and faculty on a common platform and meaningfully engage our industry icons,'' the Pearl Academy of Fashion Group Director, Mr A.K.G. Nair, said here. Expressing his views on the conference, he said, "The conference is being organised to celebrate the innovation in design in the decade gone and to launch the creative excitement of the decade ahead.'' Liberty Shoes is the sponsor of the event. Established in 1993, Pearl Academy has over 900 students with campuses in Delhi and Jaipur. It plans to open its campus in Chennai next month.
