Sundaram Mutual launches fixed term plan

SUNDARAM Mutual is launching a close-ended income scheme `Sundaram Fixed Term Plan' with five maturity periods ranging from 100 to 800 days. The new fund offer (NFO) opens from February 15 and closes on February 21.

There would be two investment options — growth option and dividend option, a press release said here.

The scheme features Plan Series I with 100 days maturity, Plan Series II with 200 days maturity, Plan Series III with 400 days maturity, Plan Series IV with 500 days maturity and Plan Series V with 800 days maturity, the release said.

"The investment objective of Sundaram Fixed Term Plan is to achieve income with minimum volatility by investing in a portfolio of fixed-income securities normally maturing in line with the time profile of the respective series/plans," said Mr Dheeraj Singh, Fund Manager of Sundaram Fixed Term Plan.
