Global meet on renewable energy in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Indian arm of International Solar Energy Society will organise a global conference and trade show on renewable energy at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.

The ICORE - 2006 (International Congress On Renewable Energy) will begin tomorrow, while the trade show would open the following day.

The focus of the meet to be opened by the Union Minister for Non-Conventional Energy Sources, Mr Vilas Muttemwar, would have the theme of `Transition to renewable energy - Emerging global opportunities'. The event would also include a `Solar Food Festival' where solar products and technologies related to food processing would be showcased, according to a press release.
