Triveni Engg to set up mills in UP

NEW DELHI: Triveni Engineering and Industries will set up two new sugar factories in Uttar Pradesh with a cane crushing capacity of 5,000 tonnes a day each.

The new factories would come up at Chandanpur, J.P. Nagar District and Rani Nagal, Moradabad District in UP, a company release said. The company, which manufactures sugar and engineering mechanical equipment, has four sugar mills in UP with a total per day cane crushing capacity of 40,500 tonnes.

Besides, the company also has plans for further expansion of infrastructural facilities at its turbine unit in Bangalore and would install high-speed vacuum balancing machine there.
