Sterlite bonus issue

MUMBAI: Sterlite Industries India Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that its board of directors is meeting on February 10, to consider an issue of bonus shares and a stock split.

According to dealers, the stock split is expected to improve liquidity in the capital market.
