Paramount Computer to set up India centre

Our Bureau

Bangalore , Feb. 2

PARAMOUNT Computer Systems, a UAE-based information security firm, proposes to set up a development centre in South India over the next three months.

The Managing Director, Mr Harish Kunnath, said the company had started hiring people and might finalise the location soon. The short-listed locations include Coimbatore and Chennai.

Paramount, Mr Kunnath said, currently catered to the information security needs of large companies in the Gulf and has tie-ups with global security solutions vendors. "In the security services space, we do the project management and quality assurance onsite on our own. Since maintaining consultancy resources onsite is a costly proposition, we sub-contract the projects to multiple Indian vendors like Sify among others," Mr Kunnath said.
