Textiles Welspun India Q3 net down 31% Our Bureau
MUMBAI: Welspun India Ltd has reported a 31 per cent dip in net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, at Rs 7.3 crore. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 10.7 crore in the year-ago period. The net sales during the quarter increased by 30 per cent to Rs 149.4 crore (Rs 114.2 crore). For the nine months ended December 31, 2005, the net profit rose by 18 per cent to Rs 30.8 crore (Rs 26 crore). The sales went up by 38 per cent to Rs 434 crore (Rs 313 crore).
