Letters Bihar and development
This is with reference to "Getting Bihar on the path to Progress," (Business Line, January 17). The author's logic and arguments apply to most other States as well. The Chief Minister, Mr Nitish Kumar, has the unenviable task of undoing a lot of the damage done during the past 15 years, including, most importantly, the negative impact on the mental and physical attitudes of the people of Bihar. As has been pointed out by author, Mr Kumar has to inspire the Biharis by articulating his vision. His successeses will come from making the people a part of the process of recovery and development.
