E-learning

This is with reference to "E-learning initiative for quality education launched," (Business Line, January 18). The move is laudable. At Bangalore, the Irish Prime Minister, Mr Bertie Ahern, launched the Global e-School and Communities Initiative (GeSCI) funded by the UN task force ICT. All efforts should be made to achieve the target of providing education to all by 2015 a success.
