Kisan Sabha march today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The All India Kisan Sabha intends to take out marches to the Government Secretariat here and select Krishi Bhavans on Monday as part of its nation-wide campaign to secure farmers' rights.

The Kisan Sabha State President, Mr K. Prakash Babu, will inaugurate the march in Thiruvananthapuram.

Among the demands the Sabha has raised are include waiver of farm loans, grant of interest-free loans to marginal farmers, pegging of farm loan interest at four per cent and procurement of farm produces at remunerative prices.
