Strike called off

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Industries Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that the strike at its Jasidih unit in Jharkhand has been called off and the production resumed today.

With reference to the earlier announcement regarding strike, the company said the Jharkhand Government has referred the industrial dispute between management and workmen of the unit to the Industrial Tribunal, Ranchi, for adjudication and prohibited the continuance of strike in connection with the dispute through its notification dated January 17.
