Jain Housing launches 2 projects in Coimbatore

JAIN Housing and Constructions Ltd has spread its wings into the city with the launch of `Jain Surabhi' on Avinashi Road.

The Rs 40-crore project on a total land area of 2.04 acres will comprise 128 two and three-bedroom apartments.

The Executive Director of Jain Housing, Mr Sandeep Mehta, told presspersons that the project would be completed in 15 months. The Bhoomi Pooja is slated for January 20, and the work is expected to commence soon.

The size of the apartments would vary between 1,032 sq.ft (2 bedroom flat) and 1,622 sq.ft (3 bedroom flat), he said and added that the company was proposing to offer at a rate of Rs 2,190/sq. ft (Rs 1,995 towards basic cost plus Rs 195 on registration and other charges) during the inaugural period. "We intend to increase the rate from February by another Rs 150 or so, per sq. ft," Mr Mehta said.
