Dubai gold resumes 143-kg winning campaign

Mumbai , Jan. 16

THE Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG), an association of more than 700 gold and jewellery members in Dubai, has resumed its promotions, the jewellery campaign and the gold coin campaign.

The Group announced its mega winnings of 143 kilos of gold and 16 carats of diamonds as part of its spectacular promotion for the 11th Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

Mr Tawhid Abdullah, Chairman, Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, said: "The popular dual-campaigns have been invested in heavily not only in monetary terms, but also with a lot of hard work and dedication from the entire team here at DGJG." The jewellery promotion will run until March 3. On purchase of jewellery worth Dhs 500, customers are eligible to win one-kilo gold every alternative day effective January 14.

The mega prizes featuring four 1-kilo gold & 1 carat diamond winners each will take place on March 3.

The next shopping festival will run from December 20, 2006, to February 2, 2007.
