Harvard professor on TCS board

MUMBAI: Tata Consultancy Services has appointed Harvard Professor, Mr Clayton M. Christensen, as independent director on its board.

Mr Christensen is the Robert and Jani Cizik Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School. The TCS board now has six members, of which four - Mr Aman Mehta, Mr Naresh Chandra, Mr V. Thyagarajan and now the new appointee - are independent directors. Mr Ratan Tata, Chairman and Mr S. Ramadorai, CEO and Managing Director are the non-independent directors.
