Tribute to Corpn Bank founder

MANGALORE: The Corporation Bank Officers' Organisation (CBOO) will hold a function in memory of Haji Abdulla Saheb, the founder of Corporation Bank.

A press release said that CBOO would pay tributes to Abdulla Saheb on January 14 at Udupi as part of the ongoing centenary celebrations of the bank.

Mr V.K. Chopra, Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, and Mr K.L. Gopalakrishna, Executive Director, will attend the function. Sri Visweshathirtha Swamiji of Pejavar Math, Udupi, and Prof. Muralidhara Upadhya of Poornaprajna College, Udupi, will speak on the occasion.
