Fixed Deposits Industry & Economy - NRIs LVB hikes rates on term, FCNR, NRE deposits Our Bureau
Coimbatore , Jan. 9 LAKSHMI Vilas Bank has hiked the rate on domestic term deposit, FCNR (B) term deposit and NRE tern deposit from January 2. The domestic term deposit rate has been hiked from 7 per cent to 7.25 per cent for tenure of one to 3 years and from 6.50 per cent to 7.50 per cent for deposits over 5 years. The FCNR (B) term deposit rate has been hiked from 4.55 to 4.64 per cent for 1 to 2 years. The NRE term deposits rate from 5.30 to 5.60 per cent for 1 to 2 years and from 5.40 to 5.60 per cent for tenure between 2 and below 3 years and from 5.40 to 5.60 per cent for deposits over 3 years.
