With reference to the news report on Companies Bill published in these columns on Thursday, it was inadvertently mentioned in the headline that the Companies Bill may not figure in Budget session. The factual position is that the Ministry of Company Affairs is targeting the Budget session of Parliament to introduce the Bill, but there is a possibility of a delay in getting Parliamentary approval if the Bill is referred to the Standing Committee.
