New Delhi , Jan. 2

GET set to fly between Delhi and London for Rs 10,000. In a move to promote its new website, celebrate the New Year and launch its London flight, Air Sahara is offering a return fare of Rs 10,000 between the two capitals.

"The offer will be available from midnight tonight and is only available on bookings made on the Web site. We will be offering 2006 return air tickets between Delhi and London at Rs 10,000 each," the airline President, Mr Ronojoy Dutta, said. The airline is to launch a four-times-a-week flight between Delhi and London from January 6.

The promotional fare ticket will be valid for one year from the date of purchase.

However, no refund will be available to the passenger in case he cancels the ticket.

In addition to the promotional fare, a passenger will also have to pay Rs 7,500 as taxes that are normally applicable on any ticket purchased for travel to London.

The new Web site launched by the airline will be more interactive and offer real time information to the passenger.

"The new Web site will also offer passengers the option of choosing their own fare and access information about seat availability and fares on all sectors. They will also be able to make a booking for a flight on the same day," Mr Dutta said.

Meanwhile, Air Sahara has been given permission by the Indian authorities to launch a second flight between Delhi and Singapore.

"We will look to operate a double daily flight between Delhi and Singapore soon," Mr Dutta said without specifying the date for the launch. The airline started operating a daily flight between Delhi and Singapore in May last year.
