Security IT cos working on security measures: Narayana Murthy Our Bureau
Bangalore , Dec. 30 THE terrorist attack has not shaken Brand Bangalore. "It is no indication of Bangalore as a city," said Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chief Mentor of Infosys Technologies, on Thursday at the campus. "It is very sad, we have realised it is a small world," he added. In the aftermath of the terrorist attack at the Indian Institute of Science here on Tuesday, the IT industry is sprucing up their security. "Companies are working on security measures," said Mr Murthy. Infosys has taken all necessary precautions, he added. Thanking the police for alerting them to the situation and taking immediate measures, Mr Murthy said, "We require this kind of partnership." Earlier speaking to his employees at an awards ceremony, Mr Murthy said, "For the first time in around 300 years, India has something to offer."
