Hutch's lifetime pre-paid service for Rs 999

Our Bureau

Mumbai , Dec. 26

AFTER Tata Teleservices' two-year prepaid validity package which was followed up by Airtel with something similar, Hutch has gone the whole hog in terms of validity period, offering a prepaid service "for life" for a one-time charge of Rs 999.

The offer called the Chalte Rahe scheme is available to the existing and new subscribers. The tariffs will be Rs 1.99 per minute for local calls and Rs 2.99 per minute for STD calls.

The recharge comes with inbuilt talk time worth Rs 25. This recharge cannot be combined with any other promotional offer, said a news release from the company.

Future recharges will offer full talk time and, of course, users do not need to buy validity recharges every month.
