Emirates plans more flights

NEW DELHI: The Dubai-based airline Emirates has announced that it would start operating eight-times-a-week between Dubai and Thiruvananthapuram from February 1 next year.

In a statement the airline has said that it would also offer a daily flight between Kochi and Dubai from February 1. At present the airline operates to Kochi fives-times-a-week.

It will also increase flights to Chennai and will operate eight times a week from February 1. The airline currently operates 43 non-stop flights a week between Dubai and India to five cities here.
