New Products & Services Discover 112 cc launched in AP Our Bureau
VISAKHAPATNAM: The new Discover 112 cc of Bajaj is bound to make a mark in the Andhra Pradesh market as "it has the style attributes along with gorgeous graphics besides being competitively priced," according to Mr B.K. Senapati, the Regional Manager, marketing and sales (two-wheelers). At a press meet here prior to the launch of the vehicle, he said it would give mileage of 101 kmpl (under standard test conditions) and 70 kmpl on roads. "It is priced at Rs 38,833 ex showroom in AP. The production of Discover has started at our Akurdi plant and the vehicle will be available with all dealers by the month-end," he said. Mr Prabhu Kishore, the local dealer, said 18 workshops had been set up all over the Visakhapatnam district, including the tribal tracts, to provide quality service to customers. "We have a market share of 36 per cent in Vizag district, we want to hike it by 6-7 per cent more," he added. Later, Mr N. Madan Mohan, the DIG of police, launched the vehicle.
