Class on LASIK eye care in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) will conduct an awareness class on LASIK (Laser refractive error correction technology) here on Sunday. Dr Somasheila Murthy, Dr B S Ramamurthy and Dr Merle Fernandes will speak on the advantages and risks associated with the procedure. "All participants will be eligible for LASIK evaluation," an LVPEI press release said here on Thursday.

The institute offered the correction using Wavefront technology that offered greater precision and reduced side effects, it said.
