ICRISAT award for BL correspondent

Hyderabad, Dec 15

Mr R. Balaji, a Special Correspondent of The Hindu Business Line at Chennai, has won the annual Millennium Science Award instituted by ICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics), here.

He has won the award for his "outstanding contribution to reporting on agriculture in the context of economic change."

Dr William Dar, Director-General of ICRISAT, presented the award to Mr Balaji at the Institute's Annual Day celebrations here on Thursday.
