ICICI Bank public issue subscribed 6.5 times the offer

ICICI Bank's domestic issue of Rs 5,750 crore, which closed today, was subscribed 6.53 times, according to the NSE's official Web site.

The issue had a price band of Rs 505-545 a share for its public issue of shares through the book-building route. The number of bids received at Rs 505 were 64,66,44,700 bids and 45,50,70,450 bids were received at Rs 545.

The bank is also raising ADS of Rs 2,300 crore. The ADS will also include Public Offering Without Listing in Japan, which is decided by the price of the ADS.

According to sources, the issue received Rs 1,000 crore from retail investors.
