Jammu Rural Bank to vend MetLife products

METLIFE India Insurance Co. Pvt. Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding with The Jammu Rural Bank to sell its life insurance products.

Under the bancassurance agreement, the bank's network of 90 branches in the districts of Jammu, Kathua, Poonch and Rajouri will sell Metlife's products.

According to a press release, Mr Vikrant Pande, Director, Bancassurance, MetLife, said: "MetLife has always looked at deepening and widening its base for insurance products."
