GLIM management fest on Dec 11, 12

GREAT Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) is organising its maiden annual B-school fest L'Attitude 13º05 (signifying the geographical coordinates of Chennai) on December 11 and 12.

The festival begins with a conclave of eminent business leaders and academicians from India and abroad on the theme `Womb to tomb - Striving for endurance' — revolving around the strategies of companies at various stages.

The speakers include the Founder and Honorary Dean, Dr Bala V. Balachandran; the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr Chandrababu Naidu; technocrat Mr Sam Pitroda; Congressman Mr Jairam Ramesh; and business strategy specialist Mr Harish Bijoor, apart from top executives from the industry.

The fest also includes competitive events, with prizes worth over Rs 2 lakh, to test the "managerial, business and inter-personal skills and personal orientation of the participants," according to Mr S. Sriram, Executive Director, GLIM.
