Demand for writing resumes is rising in India, and recruitment portals offer this service for costs ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 3,000. Portals such as JobStreet, JobsDB.com and JobsAhead.com have a panel of resume writers offering customised service to individuals, say sources in the placement industry.

As the saying goes, "dress maketh a man," resume makes the first impression. Resume is the first document someone looks at to get to know about the individual, says Mr N. Muralidharan, Managing Director and Vice-President, JobStreet.com India Pvt Ltd.
