Bajaj Auto Nov sales flat

MUMBAI: Bajaj Auto Ltd on Thursday reported a one per cent growth in total sale of 2&3-wheelers for November at 1,83,411 units, from the previous corresponding 1,82,360 units.

Sale of 2-wheelers was lower by 0.22 per cent at 1,66,254 units (1,66,626 units for the year-ago period). Motorcycle sales moved up two per cent to 1,57,831 units (154,137 units), while that of 3-wheelers grew by 9 per cent to 17,157 units (15,734 units).

Exports increased 49 per cent to 23,112 units (15,519 units).

For the October-November period, the company's total sale of 2&3-wheelers rose 18 per cent to 4,25,219 units (3,59,053 units), including a 19-per cent increase in the sale of 2-wheelers to 3,86,181 units (3,24,257 units). Sale of 3-wheelers gained 12 per cent to 39,038 units (34,796 units).

Exports for the period were up 49 per cent to 45,825 units (30,781 units).
