Terex Pegson to source components worth $2 million

THE $6-billion Terex Pegson plans to source components worth $2 million from India.

The Terex Pegson Director for sales in South Asia and West Asia, Mr Rajender Khoda, told a news conference on Wednesday that the quality of vendors in India was extremely good.

"Cost wise as well as quality wise the vendors are extremely good here," the official said. Terex markets its products in India through Voltas.

He said the company might also look at acquiring another company in India in case Terex Pegson wants to set up a manufacturing base here.
