24/7 Customer opens sixth facility

24/7 CUSTOMER, a contact centre and BPO services provider, has announced the launch of a dedicated facility in Hyderabad.

This centre will provide contact centre and back-office services to its customers in the US and the UK. Spread over 90,000 sq. ft in Somajiguda area, it has a capacity to host 1,200 seats spread across six floors and will initially house 800 employees.

The company plans to increase the headcount by an additional 1,000 employees over the next six to nine months. This is the sixth facility of 24/7 Customer across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai inthe country. 24/7 Customer now employs over 5,500 employees.

The Founder and Chief Operating Officer of 24/7 Customer, Mr S. Nagarajan, in a statement said "the opening of a fully dedicated centre is part of our consolidate and grow strategy. We will recruit across various levels to meet the growing customer demand".

"In a city dominated by captive BPOs, our expansion would make us amongst the top three, third-party BPOs. Today, we are the number one vendor globally on performance for over 70 per cent of our clients," he said.

The company provides integrated customer lifecycle management services.

Founded in April 2000, 24/7 Customer employs over 5,500 professionals across offices in the US, Canada, UK and India, handling over 7 million transactions per month.
