Valigonda rail mishap inquiry report

HYDERABAD: The inquiry by Mr R.P. Agrawal, Commissioner of Railway Safety (South Central Circle), into the Valigonda train accident has concluded that the mishap occurred due to "failure of equipment/structure".

The October 29 accident left 116 people killed and 104 injured, a Government press release said, quoting the provisional findings of the Commissioner appended with his preliminary report.
