Public Sector Banks SBT offers mediclaim facility for customers Our Bureau
Thiruvananthapuram , Nov. 21 STATE Bank of Travancore (SBT), in association with United India Insurance Company, has formulated two new Mediclaim schemes exclusively for its customers. The first scheme, SBT Uni-health, is available for the domestic segment account holders in the age group of five to 60 years. The policy covers reimbursement of expenses for hospitalisation due to diseases or injuries caused by accidents. The second scheme, SBT NRI Care, is a package cover for NRI account holders of the bank and is a combination of personal accident and health insurance covers. The schemes are available at all branches of SBT, according to a statement from the bank. ATM centre at Sabarimala: SBT has opened a 24-hour ATM and Pilgrim Banking Centre at Pampa for the convenience of pilgrims visiting Sabarimala during the Mandalam and Makaravilakku seasons. The ATM is part of the over 5,500-strong nationwide ATM network of the State Bank group and hence customers of State Bank of India or any of its associate banks can withdraw money from the ATM at no additional charge.
