Our Bureau

COIMBATORE: To the cricket aficionados who may not have the chance to watch the action live on the screen, BPL Mobile, the mobile phone service provider, has come out with the next best alternative of periodically knowing the scores and important highlights of the match without stirring away from one's seat just in the palm of one's hand!

BPL Mobile's new service titled `Live Cricket Alerts' would keep the subscribers updated on the happenings on the cricket field. The subscriber had to send an SMS "SUB" to 777 to activate this service that comes at a rental of Rs 30 for a series, a release from BPL Mobile said.
