New president at Brand Therapist

MUDRA has appointed Mr Soumitra Sen as the President of Brand Therapist, Mudra's specialised unit that focuses on the communication needs of the Healthcare industry. Mr Sen will operate from Mumbai.

On his appointment as the President of Brand Therapist, Mr Soumitra Sen stated, "In my view, the healthcare sector is poised for dramatic changes with lifestyle marketing converging with fitness and corporatisation of hospitals and insurance."

Prior to joining Mudra, Mr Sen was the Vice-President, Healthcare at Contract for a period of 4 years. He has over 13 years of experience in the advertising industry; in the client-servicing role, first as an AGM for DaCunha's and subsequently in agencies such as IB&W, Madison DMB & B & Euro RSCG where he was involved with a diverse set of brands such as McDowells, Videocon, Toshiba, Samsonite, Leela Group, Cintol and Godrej Soaps. Prior to his servicing stint, he worked at companies such as Torrent, Cadilla and Helios.
