Textiles Hanil Era Q2 net up 21 pc Our Bureau
MUMBAI: Hanil Era Textiles Ltd reported a 21 per cent increase in second quarter profit after tax at Rs 4.86 crore against Rs 4.02 crore in the year-ago period. Revenues for the quarter were Rs 26.07 crore (Rs 26.01 crore.) "The full impact of the modernisation programme and additional spindleage efficiency will be felt in the second half of the current year," the company said in a news release quoting Mr R.K. Agarwal, Chairman, Hanil Era. Hanil recently entered the home furnishing segment comprising bed sets, curtains and table linen. It has partially commenced fabric production at its new weaving capacity with the installation of 36 looms out of a total of 108. The remaining capacity is to be instituted in two phases November 2005 and March 2006.
