Bangalore , Oct. 30

KOHLER India Corporation (KIC), a US-based group with a product range of power systems, kitchen and bath products, has launched LPG and CNG fuel-based generator sets for residential and small business applications.

The demand for such a power system is estimated at 25,000 in India. Announcing the launch here on Saturday, Mr Sanjay Bondre, General Manager of KIC, said LPG supply should not pose any problem, as the company has been assured of supply from Elf in Karnataka and oil companies bottling the fuel in other cities.

Mr Bondre said the generators are totally automatic sets powered by Kohler gas engines and could be installed in small offices, banks, showrooms and other commercial establishments, besides residential bungalows.
