Bharat Electronics PAT rises

BANGALORE: Bharat Electronics Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 146.67 crore for the quarter ended September 30 this year, registering nearly 33 per cent growth over Q2 PAT for fiscal 2004-05, which was at Rs 110.56 crore.

Net sales were marginally higher at Rs 828.81 crore (Rs 810.81 crore) The defence PSU showed a total income of Rs 852.8 crore for the quarter.

Sequentially it posted 159 per cent growth over the first quarter PAT of Rs 56.59 crore for this fiscal. Net sales too grew nearly 73 per cent, up from Rs 479 crore during the first quarter.
