Bharat Earth Movers Q2 net at Rs.29.08 cr

BANGALORE: Bharat Earth Movers Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 29.08 crore during the second quarter ended September 30 this year, registering a 49 per cent growth over the PAT for the same quarter of last fiscal year.

Sales turnover for the quarter dipped by 4 per cent to Rs 383.2 crore though other income almost doubled to Rs 21.38 crore.

For the first half of the current year, Bharat Earth Movers made a sales turnover of Rs 786 crore. Its net profit of Rs 41.49 crore represents a 68 per cent growth over the same period last year.

The value of production for the half year stood at Rs 926 crore (Rs 814 crore).
