First winner of `Gold Deepam' prize from Bangalore

MANGALORE: Mr Ramesh Prabhu of Mangalore has won a `Gold Deepam' worth Rs 50,000 under the `Har Dil Mein Smile' offer of Brooke Bond.

Addressing presspersons here, Mr Ravi, representative of Hindustan Lever Ltd, said Mr Prabhu was the first person to win the prize under this scheme in the country. He won it on purchase of a 250 gm tea pack of Brooke Bond Red Label at Ganesh Bazar in Mangalore.

Mr Ravi said that 100 such `Gold Deepams' were on offer under the scheme.
